[b]WHAT IS THIS?[/b]
This is going to be our own production of High School Musical: The Musical. We were inspired to do this after watching High School Musical The Musical The Series. The way this is gonna work is everyone will be performing from the comfort of their own homes. With editing magic, we will be allowing everyone to not only see our version of this amazing show but to allow talented performers to play these fantastic characters.
The way this will work is rehearsals and recording and stuff will be happening on Zoom, mostly so we can get adjusted to delays and figuring out the singing and everything. The performance will be uploaded to YouTube.
[b]REQUIREMENTS[/b]
The only things we need are 3 things.
1: A Zoom account, given as we previously mentioned, rehearsals will be happening there.
2: Kindness. By that we mean we want performers who are nice and easy to work with, nothing rude or disrespectful.
3: Singing/musical theatre experience. We want people who have been part of musical theatre or have sung in the past.
POC performers are also encouraged to audition, and we don’t just mean for roles like Taylor or Gabriella. Try out for anyone you’d love to play.
