Spy Brunch LLC, CoAct Productions, and Sampson Creative Enterprises are pleased to announce auditions for a site-specific interactive thriller to premiere in September.
Cold War Lounge: The Asset is a 60-minute immersive experience that takes place in an operating bar in downtown LA. Actors must feel comfortable with improvisation and audience engagement. Prior immersive theatre experience a plus.
Auditions are July 13th and 14th. Rehearsals will take place throughout the month of August on Monday and Wednesday evening, with dress rehearsals scheduled for September 2nd and 4th.
Performances will be held on September 6th, 7th, and 8th. Each performance night includes three shows. There is pay.
The following roles are open for casting:
ANDREW (male, mid 30s – mid 50s): A seasoned secret agent and master manipulator, cynical about the world and comfortable with moral grey areas. American but raised in England (slight British accent).
JACK (male, mid 20s – late 30s): A relative newcomer to the spy world, but with a strong military background. Tough, focused, and charismatic. American.
IVAN (male, mid 30s – mid 50s): A foreign spy with a sly sense of humor, talkative and arrogant, always thinks he’s the smartest person in the room. Mild German or Russian accent.
ESMERELDA (female, mid 20s – mid 50s): An immigrant seeking help and refuge, with a mysterious past that she hides well. Intelligent and devoted to her cause.
