Mark Ruffalo, Lili Reinhart and Cooper Raiff are set to star in the upcoming independent television series Hal & Harper. The series is written and directed by Cooper Raiff, who is best known for his film Cha Cha Real Smooth.
The series follows the story of Hal and Harper, two estranged siblings who are forced to reunite after their father’s death. The two must learn to reconnect and come to terms with their past in order to move forward.
Joining Ruffalo, Reinhart and Raiff in the cast are Addison Timlin (Blackout) and Havana Rose Liu (No Exit).
Ruffalo is an Academy Award-nominated actor who has starred in films such as The Avengers, Spotlight and Foxcatcher. Reinhart is best known for her role as Betty Cooper in the hit CW series Riverdale. Raiff is a rising star in the indie film world, having written and directed Cha Cha Real Smooth, which won the Grand Jury Prize at the 2019 SXSW Film Festival.
Hal & Harper is set to begin production in the coming months and is expected to be released in 2021. The series is being produced by Raiff and his producing partner, Tyler Davidson.
