EXCLUSIVE: Mayans M.C. star Clayton Cardenas is set to join the cast of Fox’s The Cleaning Lady for its upcoming third season. Cardenas will play Dante, the trusted lieutenant of Ramona (Kate del Castillo).
The Cleaning Lady follows Ramona, a former cleaning lady who is now a powerful crime boss in Los Angeles. She is determined to take down the corrupt system that has kept her and her family down for generations.
Cardenas’ character Dante is described as intense and authoritative with a dangerous edge. He is unconcerned with anything but getting the job done and is willing to do whatever it takes to protect Ramona and her family.
Cardenas is best known for his role as Angel Reyes on FX’s Mayans M.C., a spinoff of the hit series Sons of Anarchy. He has also appeared in films such as The Mule and The Tax Collector.
The Cleaning Lady is executive produced by del Castillo, who also serves as the show’s lead. The series is produced by Fox Entertainment and 20th Television.
