We are seeking an actor to portray the marquee character for a Spanish beer brand launch. The event will take place on November 22nd and will require a wardrobe fitting, short rehearsal, and a 2-4 hour event call. The actor must be male, between the ages of 35-45, have a beard, and bonus points if they can speak Spanish. The pay for this job is $1000 all in.
The event will involve the actor walking through the red door, being mic’d up, and welcoming the audience to the world of Madrid. He will explain who he is and a few points about the beer in a 2-3 minute speech. The actor will then introduce the brand manager who will play a video and speak about the brand’s ambitions for 10 minutes.
The actor will then be invited back on stage to do a beer tasting with the crowd. He will crack a can, pour it in the glass, hold it up to the light and say some notes about colour and foam, then sniff it and say some things and toast the crowd and say Salud then taste it and say some things. The skit will be roughly 15 minutes total.
Submissions must be emailed by Wednesday the 15th at 10am. There may be opportunities for repeat events and additional bookings.
