I am a Integrated Digital student at Ryerson University and I am looking for 4 contemporary dancers to participate in an experimental video art installation. We will be using the audio from The Art of War, more specifically the section about energy. The concept for the art is that we will be shooting dancers on a black background and will be painting parts of their bodies green like green screen. This in postproduction will give the illusion that we can see their energy underneath their skin.
Production Date is most likely to be on October 12th. Most of the choreography will be created as a group effort on the day of, however if you wish to come with a routine prepared, we can record it for you’re own use, so that you will get something out of the experience too. Please submit any demo work you have. All ages, genders, ethnicities, and body types are welcome.
