I’m Lu from MFA directing in Columbia College Chicago.
This project is about a story between my mom and me. I studied engineering in undergraduate because she wanted me to do. However, I love film a lot. My mom supported me later, even she didn’t know anything about film. I treat this film as a small gift for my mother’s support.
The reference film is LADYBIRD.
BIO: Dora, the mother of Xin. She works at a TV station and wants her daughter to study media too. She is kind of stubborn but is also a lovely mother who feels angry and disappointed about her daughter but finally supports her daughter’s choice.

Shooting and audition:
I am going to shoot my location project in October 27th. We’ve scheduled two auditions. The first one is on Friday, October 18th, 5:00-7:30pm Location: Room 709, 1104 s Wabash Ave, Chicago, IL 60605.(Columbia College Chicago building) The second one is on Monday, October 21st. 4:00-6:30pm. Location: Room 703, 1104 s Wabash Ave, Chicago, IL 60605.(Columbia College Chicago building).
This is a student film, we will provide crafty, mean, crafty and still photographs.
