PINK HAIR, a drama short about how through grief one learns to make peace with their bicultural identity.
This is an indie student production to be shot in Austin, TX mid-March 2021. The short will be showcased to other UT graduate students & faculty who are active filmmakers in Austin, and submitted to film festivals.
Seeking:
Lead role of mid-20’s East Asian American female
Support role of 50’s East Asian female
Support role of 40’s to 60’s female, any ethnicity
Auditions to be held early February, first reading via Zoom.
3 rehearsals from mid to late February.
Shooting dates: March 12-14, 2021
Covid safety measures enforced throughout the shoot. Free tests provided.
Compensations: We can’t offer payment, but we will provide stipends, meals, IMDb credits and an HD copy of the finished film to add to your acting reel.
