Tao (mother) – main

Can often be headstrong to the point of annoyance to others. Carries a strong personality to hide her vulnerability side.
Liang (father) – main

Karen (daughter) – main
20-30 female, East Asian, medium build. Struggles with her independence while trying to keep her filial duties. Far more progressive than her parents and has carved out a life for herself elsewhere. Speaks English better than her mother tongue. Has a jaded perspective to her parents’ difficult marriage.
