I am looking for 10 to 12 year olds who are interested in being acting extras in my student short film LUCY. It would would be a 3 hour shoot in a school in downtown Ottawa on January 26th. All children are welcome and would be required to wear navy blue bottoms (skirts or pants) and a white polo or dress shirt . I am a 22 year old girl who is currently in the process of applying to film school. This short film is about how a young girl met and then lost her best friend Lucy. After meeting at school and bonding over shared deserts the two become best friends. Lucy is a dark character who is hated by her classmates because people believe death follows her. After the main character accidentally steps on an abandoned bird nest, Lucy distances herself from her friend because she think she is the problem. This is a heart warm story about friendship and looking for one another.
